I just saw that Ed Cook, who is connected with HUC here in Cincinnati largely due to his work on the Comprehensive Aramaic Lexicon, has announced that he has taken a post at the Catholic University of America in DC.

Doug Gropp mentioned that to me a few weeks ago. He definitely seemed pleased. CUA students who I talked to at SBL back in November hadn’t heard anything yet and I was getting worried, but I was glad to hear they have hired professors for both (Gropp’s and O’Connor’s) positions.
